iPROMEDAI - Cost Action
General Information
With a great honour we invite you to participate in the Young Scientist Forum organised by the TD1305 COST Action iPROMEDAI in the framework of the EUROMAT 2017 conference
and exhibition on advanced materials and processes. The iPROMEDAI Young Scientist Forum will provide interactive discussion sessions on topics that concern every Early Stage Researcher in the field of Advanced Antimicrobial Biomaterials. It will provide an interactive networking platform to share knowledge on and exchange experience about career opportunities, grant possibilities, scientific communication as well as work for/collaborate with industry.
The event will take place 17 and 18 September 2017 in the Conference Cultural Centre “Thessaloniki Concert Hall”, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Program components
It will be an unique opportunity for the participants to:
- present their research interests
- learn about grant opportunities
- find other ESR partners for collaborative projects
- learn how to set up collaboration with industry
- be guided how to build your scientific career and network
- improve your scientific communication
- meet and establish cross-border contacts
Admission
The workshop is limited to 50 participants to allow interactive discussion sessions. In case of over-subscription, the organizers will select candidates based on geographical distribution and research activities. The selection will be final and not negotiable.

should be sent by email to Martijn Riool (m.riool@amc.uva.nl) by September 15th, 2017. Each application should contain:
? your CV;
? a short motivation letter for selection purposes. In the motivation letter, please explain why you would like to attend, including what you can contribute and how you think you will benefit from the meeting.
All selected participants will be asked to prepare a 3 minute presentation on their scientific interests and ongoing research, as well provide background of grant possibilities for ESR in their own country (via questionnaire).
